The clearing lies in the hidden interior. It is a dark empty void filled with light just like outer space, as light, invisible in itself, only becomes visible when it collides with particles. The clearing is the space where thinking, whether meditative or calculating, emerges. The latter kind of thinking leads to a completely hermetic exterior vacuum, a dark, static, cold, metallic, and angular void without light. This darkness devoid of light means lack of hope, oblivion of being…distance from the Earth.
