The first culture is grounded on the cult of the earth that its oldest children, the trees, offered to it from within: their flowers. Humanity imitated this telluric cult, but over the course of the millennia, it abandoned it as it grew distant from nature. Art restores this sensitivity and reverence, and reveals it, for example, in the work “Almond Blossom” by Vicent Van Gogh. Today, with humanity even further detached from nature, I invoke such image in order to recover the first culture: the sublime love for the earth.
